Ever considered having Niles Senior Portraits in Fremont, California?
Back in April I went out to California for a senior portrait photography workshop. While I was there, I decided to contact my former teacher at my high school, to see if he had any recommendations for some students that might be interested in modeling for me to take some Bay Area senior portraits.
Oh California, I’m glad that you’ll always be a part of my life, because the light you have is just so pretty. I’m not quite sure what it is, but the light is a little different from Texas. It’s different. We photographed in Niles, a really cute vintage area of Fremont, the city where I grew up and my parents still live.
Meet Sofia. She’s a Class of 2015 Senior at Moreau Catholic High School (my alma mater, go Mariners!). She’s a Varsity Cheerleader and also had the same teacher for Geometry. Some things never change!
Niles Senior Portraits
Part of my goal of coming to California to photograph Bay Area senior portraits is to bring the tradition here! I know when I graduated from high school, our only option was to go to the studio. While I’m glad I do have photos, I wish that there had been an option to have truly unique senior photos that could reflect my personality, hobbies, and dreams, instead of just the standard black drape…and feather boas?!
Niles has the charm of a small town kind of like Stars Hollow in Gilmore Girls…except it’s just a little pocket of the city of Fremont. It’s so cute. Any other Gilmore Girls fans out there?

Are you a Moreau Catholic High School senior looking to have your Bay Area senior portraits taken? Looking for something different and unique from the basic studio graduation photos? Let’s chat about making your session a true reflection of who you are. And don’t forget to ask about the MCHS special, as MCHS is my alma mater.
