Getting ready to book Bay Area Senior Pictures?
When I was out in California this spring, I had the idea to photograph some Bay Area senior pictures with local high school seniors. The high school senior portrait market is a little different out in California and not quite as extensive as it is here in Texas. I thought I might bring some of that to my alma mater, Moreau Catholic High School.
I met up with Jasmyn, who was a recommendation from my former Geometry teacher, Mr. Peabody, and she was such a natural in front of the camera. Though, I heard through the grapevine that she’s modeled in the past. That doesn’t surprise me one bit!
Even though we had just met, our rapport fell quickly into place and by the end of the shoot, I was ready to photograph her again. Jasmyn is a Class of 2015 Senior and Captain of the Varsity Cheerleading Team at Moreau Catholic.

I love the necklace Jasmyn wore with this outfit! It’s the perfect pop of color in an otherwise monochromatic look.
I’m convinced that California sunlight is special and different from Texas sunlight. It’s got this warm glow to it that I just don’t find in Texas that often. Perhaps that’s why it costs a premium to live in the Bay Area!
Jasmyn’s grandpa drove his classic car to the shoot and it was perfect!
Congratulations Jasmyn, you’re officially a senior now! I loved working with you and hope to work with you again in the future! Have the best time during your last year of high school!
