Would you take Miami Senior Portraits when you live in Texas?
A couple of weeks ago, I flew to Miami for Conference 12, a conference for high school senior portrait photographers.
I’ve always been a learner. I remember when I was in eighth grade, and the prospect of attending high school was so exciting, especially with all the elective choices.
When I was a senior in high school, after receiving my acceptance letter to the University of California at San Diego, I poured over the course catalog and tagged the classes I wanted to take.
Yes, I’m a nerd.
Even now that I own my own business, I believe that it’s essential to never stop learning. There’s always something new to learn.
Every year, I set a budget for photography education. Sometimes I’ll attend a convention, a conference, or workshop. Whether it’s a photo technique, a organizational system, or marketing ideas.
Never stop learning.
It was my first time in Miami (the only other time I’d been there was in the airport on a layover), and I was really excited about being on the beach and the prospect of dipping my toes in the Atlantic Ocean.
We stayed at The Confidante, right on Miami Beach. I didn’t realize how much Art Deco influence Miami has, but as we drove through Miami towards the hotel, I was amazed at the architecture.
Here are a few from one of the shoots at the Spanish Monastery in Miami.

Nicolette was one of our amazing models for the shoot, who came all the way to Miami from the Chicago area. I just love her orange dress against all the greenery.
Have you ever wanted to take your senior portraits on the road? Have passport, will travel!
However, if you’re local to the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, I know all the best spots in the area for amazing senior portraits.
