While I do like Starbucks, there’s something extra special about supporting a local business.
If you’re familiar with Prosper, then you know that a new Post Office was built. The old Post Office building was left empty and 1418 Coffee remodeled the space and moved in.
The Best Coffee Shop in Prosper, Texas
I recently stopped by 1418 Coffee in Prosper and it’s such a great space. I’m blown away at how they transformed the former Post Office. I wondered what would be done with the building.
1418 Coffee is a great space to meet with friends, network with other business owners, or to go get some time to do some focused work in a nice environment. They have a delicious signature coffee drink called the Honey & Lavender latte. I’ve heard that cinnamon rolls there are amazing too. I’ll have to try it next time!

Another great coffee shop in Prosper, is Honeylu’s. Honeylu’s opened right around the time that I moved to Prosper back in 2017. It has a special place in my heart because their logo includes a dachshund and I have a dachshund named Kevin. (I know, Kevin gets little screentime these days!).
Honeylu’s is located in the same retail center as Kroger on Preston Road. It’s a great spot to host a small meeting, plan a coffee chat with another business owner, or just get out of the house for a lovely espresso drink. They have two signature drinks – the Henry and the Bees Knees. I’ve had the Henry and it’s awesome!
