I typically recommend that less is more when we are talking about taking a great headshot. Choose clothing that is a solid color rather than clothing with heavy patterns or prints. It’s my goal to make sure that the images we create are focused on your face, eyes, and smile.
Plan to bring around two or three different outfits to your session. While the session is short, we can maximize our time together. We will discuss your outfit options during your planning call.
Keep jewelry and makeup simple in your headshot unless you are trying to make a statement. I have recommendations for hair and makeup, but it is by no means required for you to have someone else do it for you. It just depends on how comfortable you are doing your own makeup
