During our planning call before your shoot, we’ll chat about all the details. From choosing a location, how to select props, your brand style, outfit planning, accessories, to makeup, hair, and nails so you feel prepared. We’ll also discuss any upcoming launches, whether it’s a new website, product, or service.

We’ll start with a questionnaire to understand your brand story. We want to make sure that your brand photos connect with your audience. Depending on your business, whether it’s product or service based, we’ll capture a good variety. We will shoot your products and services, tools of the trade, favorite items, you in action doing what you do best, behind the scenes, and more.
A huge part of personal branding photography is just that – it’s personal. We’ll brainstorm what sorts of props you should bring. You may want to bring props that will allow you to tell a story. We want to create months worth of beautiful images full of your business’ stories. Your photos should show details that give your business and website personality. When you book a brand photoshoot , we have a planning meeting where we discuss potential ideas for your sessions.

Planning is key for personal branding photoshoots. It’s also important to find the right photographer. Find someone who has a process in place to make sure that it’s easy to capture the right image for your business. Plan photos for your business with your ideal client in mind.
If you’re getting started in business and are not sure how to use the pictures or what pictures you need, I can help. I plan to take a range of images that you may want as well as photos of you doing what you do best. The point is to make sure you present as the expert!
Where Do You Offer Personal Branding Photoshoots?
My home base is Dallas, Texas and I photograph personal branding clients in Frisco, Prosper, McKinney, Plano, Allen, Celina, Little Elm, Addison, Dallas and surrounding areas.
Travel is also definitely an option. I have photographed clients in San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, New York City, Savannah, Miami, Washington, DC, and Phoenix. Please contact me for travel information.
Commercial Use Of Personal Branding Photos
Once you receive your images, you will have a commercial use license. I’m different from lots of photographers and photography services. I don’t request use credit for your branding photos unless the image is published outside of your assets (you know like if you get that feature in Forbes! or Magnolia!).
The goal is to help small business owners convert traffic into leads and leads into paying clients. In fact, you are able to edit photos to match your branding and marketing. If you go to a generic portrait photographer, I’m willing to wager they wouldn’t let you edit your images.
The main restriction is that you cannot give the photos or sell them for your own profit. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to ask. My clients have used their photos on websites, book covers, ads, magazines, press releases and their business page.
