Ever feel like you can’t get things done because it’s not “perfect” yet? Yeah, me too.
I try to think that I’m not a perfectionist. That I don’t have Type-A tendencies. But I totally do. I sometimes have a hard time completing projects…did you know it took me almost THREE years to get this new spiffy brand that I now love?! I was on the hunt for the “perfect” branding/design team. While I love the ladies who helped me through the process, I don’t think that I was ever going to find anyone who was completely perfect. I also think that the whole “perfection” thing was just an excuse for committing to change.
Change is hard.
Even though I knew a change needed to happen, I still resisted it.
We’re not perfect. I’m not perfect. But let’s not beat ourselves up over it.
A little grace can go a long way.
