Spring is here! I’m excited that Spring is finally here.
It’s felt like a long winter for Texas. Especially with an ice storm and two days of snow within 7 days. Totally weird.
Now that winter is over and random snow will not be plaguing the city streets, the Spring senior portrait season is here! I’m gearing up for a bunch of fun photo shoots, including my 2016 Senior Spokesmodels Magazine Shoot!
Today, I’m sharing Erin’s senior portraits from this Fall.
I love taking senior portraits in the Fall because the weather is *usually* quite nice. The temperature is mild and it’s before it gets too cold or crazy (no snow!). It’s also great if you like sweater weather and want to wear your favorite cozy outfits without freezing.
Erin chose a great park setting for her senior photos which has a ton of different areas to photograph. Grapevine Springs Park in Coppell is always a beautiful location for Southlake senior pictures. Many of the trees still had their leaves and were just beginning to turn colors (as close to autumn as we get around here!)
Erin goes to Carroll Senior High School in Southlake and will graduate this Spring. Next fall she is headed to the University of Missouri aka Mizzou.
For the last two outfits, we drove a little ways down the road to a more urban location. Another great thing about photographing in the Fall is the beautiful light that post-Daylight Savings time sunsets afford. Sometimes, the light is just perfect and I get to shoot into the sunsets I adore!
Congratulations, Erin! You have an amazing future ahead of you!
