People often ask me, “When is the best time of year for photos?” I have to say that for the Fall, October is probably the BEST time of year for your senior portraits in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
Darby chose the Water Gardens for her Fort Worth senior portraits and the weather was beautiful. The one thing that you can count on in DFW is unpredictable weather, but for her October shoot, the weather was spot on.
I loved the outfits that Darby chose. They totally fit her personality. Having worked with Darby a lot this past year on shoots, she showed up to her senior portrait session with a fresh haircut that is perfect for her!

I loved that she brought a hat for her outfit, and only someone like Darby could work in these suspender pants.
Kay Castro was the awesome makeup artist behind Darby’s look and she did a wonderful job on her hair and makeup.
We ventured down into the largest of the features at the Water Gardens. The Fort Worth Water Gardens make for a very unique location for your senior portraits.
And conveniently, we found a random storage rollup door with “Class of 2015” written in colored chalk. Perfect for this Class of 2015 graduate!
