While the majority of my clients are girls, I do get to photograph a senior guy session every now and then. It happens maybe once a year. Twice if I’m lucky.
TC goes to Carroll Senior High School in Southlake and is the younger brother of one of my Class of 2015 Senior Models, Darby.
Senior Guy Session Photos

I do my best to make it really easy on guys for their senior portrait session. I know that for the majority of senior guys, senior pictures is probably not their idea of how they want to spend an afternoon. Sure, some senior guys may, but in my experience, most guys are having their senior pictures taken for their parents…their mom in particular. And I think that’s great! Guys, you should totally have your photos taken for your mom. She loves you and she’ll cherish the photos of you after you leave home!

A senior guy session has the option to wear up to three outfits, but like I mentioned, I want the experience to be as quick and easy as possible, so if you just want to wear two options, that’s totally cool. That’s exactly what TC did. I always suggest one “dressier” option and one “casual” option.

We went out to Grapevine Botanical Gardens for TC’s senior guy session and it was one of those rare ideal weather days in Texas. I’ve lived in Texas for almost seven years and the “ideal” weather days are surely few and far between! It was sunny, not too hot, and pretty much perfect conditions for a photo shoot. We got TC’s shoot done in about thirty minutes which gave all of us time to enjoy the rest of the pretty day.
Are you looking to book a senior guy session? I do my best to create relaxed, easy-going photo shoots for senior guys.
