Erin was a part of Team Seventeen this year and she will be attending the University of Wisconsin – Madison in the fall. She finished the International Baccalaureate program at Coppell High School and was involved in the Theater department with stage productions as well. Congratulations, Erin! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!
Erin chose Downtown Grapevine and the Grapevine Botanical Gardens for her senior portraits for a good mix of urban and nature settings.
We saw a motorcycle in the street and it just felt like a good juxtaposition for senior pictures. You know, creativity and such.
You never know what you’ll find in back alleys, like these steps. And sometimes the breezeway at City Hall is a great spot for photos. Layers are also great for a senior session, especially here in Texas. It could be 80 or 30! Only the day will tell.
The jacket that Erin is wearing has a backstory. Her parents told me that Erin’s dad wore the jacket back in the day. At first I thought that her dad was in band at his high school. It turns out that he bought the vintage band jacket to wear to concerts. It’s in great condition and such a cool, personal piece to wear.
We took Erin’s senior photos in the Fall, and while DFW doesn’t have quite the fall season like, say, the East Coast, we still made use of the dried leaves that were available.
Erin further personalized her senior photo shoot with her Letter jacket for her participating in theater.
Finally, Erin brought a dress, for something a little more “formal”, and with the Grapevine Botanical Gardens as a backdrop was perfect. She’s ready to dance out of high school and into college in Wisconsin!
