It’s the 4th of July! Happy Independence Day!

The 4th of July always marks the thick of summer for me. Celebrations with friends, family, food, and fireworks. Celebrating the freedom we enjoy here in the United States.

I’m so thankful to live in a country where I can choose where to go to school, I can choose what to do for a living, I can choose where to live and where to travel, and have so much freedom of choice.

It makes me think of all the places in the world where choices are not an option. It makes me extra thankful to be an American and thankful to all the brave soldiers who fight for our freedom.

Last year, in honor of the 4th of July, we shot this fun session with Jenn, one of my 2014 Senior Models at sunrise. It’s always fun to do something a little different like 4th of July Senior Portraits!
