Hello again Monday! I was searching the Internet for another great quote on education, although for us in the United States, today is a holiday. But here’s a little Monday Mantra for you anyway. Enjoy this quick day off!
True education is not just about books, facts, figures, numbers, and grammar. True education develops your mind and your character and shapes who you are to become as an adult. Sure, you learn a lot from classes, from biology to calculus, but it’s also everything that is not learned in the classroom that matters as well. Here’s to learning more about yourself this year and shaping who you are to become!
“‘Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education” – Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
What have you learned from your experience in school that wasn’t taught in class? Tell me in the comments!
