When I was in high school, this was one of my goals. I wanted to be so good at school, they couldn’t ignore me. I wasn’t good at sports. I wasn’t good at acting. I wasn’t good at art. But I was good academically. Call me a nerd if you will. So I played to my strengths and fought tooth and nail to be an overachiever. The effort paid off and I graduated second in my class. That is now a distant memory, but it reminds me that if you put your heart and soul into something that you get so good – you can’t be ignored – whether that is sports, art, music, dance, math, anything!

Be so good. Do it.
