When my friend Laura asked me if I would photograph her wedding, I couldn’t have been more excited. Actually, I think I had been subconsciously looking for ways to hypnotize her into asking me. I think I said, “You would be making my dream come true.” Because it is true!
We are going to France this summer. And I am so excited about it.
Not only because a dear friend of ten years is getting married.
Or because I get to photograph that wedding in France.
Or because I get to experience exploring Europe with my husband.
Or because we’ll be having a reunion with my friends whom I met studying abroad.
Or because I miss boulangeries, patisseries, and glaceries…
But because of all of those things!
I can’t wait to grab a fresh croissant with a cafe creme or order a banana and Nutella crepe that is sure to be amazing. Most of all, I’m so excited that I get to experience it all with my husband, who was technically born in Europe, but moved away two weeks later.
