Recently, I switched to using Honeybook as my CRM. A CRM is a customer relationship manager. Basically, it’s how you can keep all your clients, jobs, inquiries, projects, and invoices organized all in one place.

I had checked out Honeybook a couple of years ago, but to be totally honest, I was kind of underwhelmed. I didn’t see what all the fuss was about.

Well, let me tell you. With a few years of growth under their belt, Honeybook is now my CRM of choice. I’ve become a total Honeybook fan.

Contact Form & Pipeline

I don’t know about you, but keeping tabs on inquiries can be a whole job by itself. Sometimes inquiries come in from your website, your blog, your social channels and it can be a mess. I love Honeybook’s contact forms because you can embed them everywhere.

When someone fills out your contact form, they will be added to your Honeybook Pipeline, where you can keep track of what stage the potential or booked client is in. This is great if you receive a lot of inquiries. You don’t have to go chasing after contact forms in different locations. You log into Honeybook and voila, all your recent inquiries are there.

Brochures

Once you’ve received an inquiry, you can quickly give your potential client an elevated experience by replying with a brochure. A Honeybook brochure enables you to send information about your services in an interactive format. You potential client has the ability to view your services and choose what they’d like to book. And because it’s within Honeybook, you can see if they client has viewed it or not, which helps you know if you should follow up or check on the accuracy of the email address.

Proposals & Contracts

When a potential client views your brochure and selects a package or service, Honeybook will let you know. From there, you can quickly (and I mean QUICKLY) create a proposal that includes the services, contract, and invoice that you can send to the client to book your services. Seriously, it’s so easy and user friendly and BEAUTIFUL.

Scheduling

A new feature that Honeybook has recently added is scheduling. You can now send your clients a link to your calendar where they can book a discovery call, consultation meeting, or any kind of appointment that your business may have. You can block the times that you are unavailable and you can create multiple calendars based on your meeting or appointment types.

Honeybook Workflows

To top all the awesomeness of Honeybook off, they have Honeybook Workflows, which is where the real power of the entire system resides. You can automate all these processes! And you can customize the level of automation so that you can still give each message a “human touch”. While I haven’t implemented the full power of automation through workflows, it’s next on my list.
