Meet Deepal Patel. She is the franchise partner for Burn Boot Camp Prosper. This is the gym where I workout almost every day. I love Burn Boot Camp because of the community. And Burn Boot Camp Prosper’s community stands out. A lot of that has to do with Deepal’s commitment to making everyone feel welcome – whether it’s their first camp or 100th camp.

One of the things that I admire about Deepal is that she doesn’t let challenges or obstacles get in her way. In fact, she was supposed to open the doors to the gym in 2020. And we all know what happened in 2020. But that didn’t stop her – she did in fact open DURING THE PANDEMIC.

Can you tell us about your journey as a female entrepreneur and what inspired you to start your business?

Journey of entrepreneurship has been nothing like I ever expected or prepared for 🙂 it’s had/has its ups & downs. Moments where I have felt so loved & moments where I’ve felt so alone. Moments where I wanted to give up & walk away. But I knew my vision & mission was pure & important. I knew my WHY was bigger than anything I’ve ever felt – to change people’s lives through one rep at a time.

When times got tough, I failed, cried, gave up – But always remembered my WHY. Why I do what I do & the number of people that count on me everyday. I think of my boys who look upto to me & are already learning what leadership & confidence looks like!

What is your business? What sets your business apart from others in your industry?

We are a personal training in a group setting gym. What sets Burn Boot Camp Prosper apart is our fitness product, our team & our community. All three of those are unmatchable. Our fitness product is the best! You got combination of strength & HIIT workouts that not only will transform your life physically but also mentally. Additionally, our workouts truly builds confidence!

How do you define success? What does “success” look like for you?

Success to me is seeing people around you grow & me helping them live their dreams & make them believe in themselves.

What are some lessons you’ve learned along the way that have helped shape your business?

Hire slow & fire fast. Trust your gut. Ask for help & celebrate every little win. Not everyone is going to like you Stay grounded

What advice would you give to other aspiring female entrepreneurs looking to start their own businesses?

Believe in yourself no matter who or what is in your way. Don’t give up on your dreams & there is no such thing as “too big of a dream” Dream it & make it happen!

What role does personal branding play in your business and how do you leverage it for growth?

Personal branding is important. It can sometimes takeover your life. It does get a little tricky when people in small town know you & it matters what you post & don’t post. My personal branding is all about my business & my kids. I like to be true, authentic & real on social media. I don’t use a lot of filters or anything that’s not true. I want ppl to know when they walk into my gym that they are getting the exact person they saw on social media! Being real is key.
