A week and a half ago, I had the distinct pleasure of attending Justin & Mary’s What’s Next Tour stop in Dallas. As usual, Justin & Mary did not disappoint. Mary’s portion of the afternoon forced us to think about what we want to accomplish NEXT – and breaking it down into the steps we need to take to get there. We declared our fears of what is holding us back from doing our “Nexts” and I believe that by saying them out loud, we dampened their hold on us. We talked about about the Why – why do we do what we do – which is so important – which has prompted me to get to really defining my Why. Then we charted out a course to get things done. So that we can take a step closer to achieving our dreams.

Justin talked about lighting and really knows his stuff! He explains lighting in a way that makes sense, though I’m sure he could get totally more technical. Watching his portion of the evening really makes me excited about getting better acquainted with lighting.

I got there early to help the crew set up at the Nuvo Room – a very cool, open, modern space perfect for a modern wedding – and had a great time!
