How is it that summer is just around the corner? Students rejoice!
I’m excited too because in just two weeks, we’ll be jetting off to France for my friend’s wedding! It’s a dream come true. Literally.
Never underestimate saying your dream out loud. A few years ago I had written down a goal (and at the time it was more of a dream or a wish) to photograph a wedding in France. Someday, somehow, I was going to make it happen. And while I don’t photograph weddings (except by personal referral) anymore, I’m SOOOOO excited to photograph Laura and Guillaume’s wedding in Cerizols, France. Not only is Laura a dear friend that I met when I studied abroad in France (10 years ago!!), but many of our friends from our year abroad will be there, too! It’s our ten year reunion. So crazy how quickly time passes by.
But I just want to take a moment to tell you that dreams can and do come true. Perhaps not in the way that you may expect, but if you keep chasing after that dream, taking it step by step to get closer to your heart’s desire, you will be there.
Go make it happen!
