How Much do Corporate Headshots Cost in Dallas?

As with any business, corporate headshots in Dallas will vary from photographer to photographer. However, in most cases, you’ll be looking at either an per person cost or a day rate for the photographer. This will be determined by how many employees or team members you have.

If it’s a small team, say 20 people or less, it’s likely that most photographers will charge a per person cost. When the team is greater in size, say upwards to 50+ people, it’s likely that the photographer will charge for a day rate.

In general, for an individual company headshot, you’re probably looking at anywhere from $150-$250/per head. For a day rate, you may be looking at $500-$1000/hour – most day rates are half day or full day, which means a half day is usually up to 4 hours and a full day is up to 8 hours.

But again, it’s going to depend on the photographer that you work with. When you work with me and Catie Ronquillo Photography, if you have a larger team, I charge a day rate + rate per final edited photo. What to Wear for Dallas Company Headshots

When it comes to corporate headshots, always talk to your leadership team to determine what look and feel the company is going for. I always recommend choosing business casual as a baseline and then dressing up from there.

For men that means a dress shirt and slacks. A blazer and tie would be an option, depending on the business. If your company leans more to the casual side, then I’d recommend a tailored polo shirt with or without the company logo.

For women, that means a dress shirt and dress pants. A blazer or suit would be an option as well, depending on the business.

Keep in mind that corporate headshots include just from the midsection up, so what your wear on the bottom doesn’t matter for the photos!

How to Organize Corporate Headshots for Your Company in Dallas

If you want to organize headshots for your entire Dallas based company, choose a day when most employees will be in the building. With the way that offices have changed since the pandemic, you may need to coordinate an in-office day. Many companies have monthly or quarterly meetings that bring all the employees together.

Simple company headshots will take about 5 minutes per person. When you hire a team with an efficient process, this can take as little as 2.5 minutes per person. Employees and team members should come camera ready – that means dressed and groomed.

How to Pose for Company Headshots

When you hire a professional photographer to take your corporate headshots, they will guide team members in posing and expression. It’s best to relax and take guidance from the photographer. A good photographer will make sure that you look good before letting you leave the headshot station.

If it helps, practice your smile in the mirror. Decide if you have a “preferred” side of your face. Choose if you’re going to smile for your company headshot or have a neutral or serious face.
