Sometimes, one of the hardest parts of planning a brand session or branding photoshoot is the location. The right location can determine the vibe for the photoshoot and energy that goes into it. A good brand shoot location should work with your brand (not work against it) and should make sense for you and your business.

The first recommendation I have is to use your studio or office (if you have one). This includes using your coworking office space or studio share. However, if you work from home or using that office space isn’t feasible, then I recommend browsing the list I have shared below.

You’ll find a variety of locations from coworking spaces, natural light studios, styled homes, and more. The vast majority of the brand photoshoots I book take place at one location. However, there are times when the client wants to include additional locations, usually one indoor and one outdoor.

Because the weather in Dallas (Dallas Fort Worth metroplex) is SO unpredictable, I usually recommend just one indoor location to keep it simple and stress free. There is a VERY small window to photograph outdoors (in my opinion) in the Dallas area and that window is in the Spring (but spring storms are something to consider) or in the Fall (but again can be unpredictable). Summer is too hot in Texas and nobody looks good sweaty.
