Now that I live in Texas, there are a few things that I miss having grown up in California.
The ocean. Lakes are not the same.
Cool breezes, especially during the summer.
Hills. It’s so flat in Dallas.
Trees. Seriously, not enough of them here.
So when I had the opportunity to attend the United Conference in Santa Barbara, I jumped at the chance. While I wasn’t able to visit my family, I did get to see the ocean, feel a cool breeze (cold on the last day), and see some hills and plenty of PALM TREES!
But aside from the pretty scenery, I also made some new friends and learned a ton to make my photography business better in order to best serve my clients.
There were two models at this sunrise shoot. Aurelie, our second model, had a red chiffon wrap. It was so beautiful when the fabric was tossed and the wind worked with it. Here are a few of my favorite photos.
Thank you to Rochelle Wilhelms for organizing and teaching, Aurelie for modeling, and Timothy for being a champion fabric tosser.
