I don’t come from a long line of entrepreneurs.
In fact, starting my own business was never on my life radar. I figured that I would go to college, find a good job, and live the American dream. After working in the corporate world for a few years, I realized that I craved defining success on my own terms.
Photography was my vehicle for creativity, business, and making a difference. It’s one of the reasons why I love working with high school seniors. You are on the precipice of blazing your own trail and defining your own success.
After dabbling in different genres of photography, I found that high school senior portraits for girls brought me the most joy. I love getting to know my clients, listening to their goals for the future, and encouraging them to seek adventure as they chase after their biggest dreams.
In a generation of selfies and Snapchat, comparison and competition, I get to help young women see themselves authentically and celebrate their accomplishments as they get ready to embark on the next stage of life.
My goal is to take the best photograph you’ve ever seen of yourself. How would you like to celebrate your senior year? Let’s grab coffee and chat about how you’d like to be photographed.
Random things about me:
I learned to read and write in French before English. And yes, I speak French.
We have a dog named Kevin. He’s named after a character from the movie, Up.
I believe in photographs. They are the last tangible thing we have to remember someone by. This was most recently reinforced after my grandmother passed away in January 2016 and my aunt passed away in April 2016. I was so thankful for semi-recent photos.
I’m a Pinterest-addict. I might need a Pin-tervention.
Twelve years ago, I met my husband while participating in the Disney College Program.
You can find me binge-watching Gilmore Girls, How I Met Your Mother, Jane the Virgin, Pretty Little Liars, and The Big Bang Theory (to name a few) when I’m editing photo shoots.
I may have an unhealthy obsession with red velvet cake. (I can tell you which bakeries are best in Dallas!)
My favorite color is turquoise, in case you couldn’t tell.
I believe in experiencing the world. I love to travel. I encourage all of my clients who are thinking about studying abroad to absolutely DO IT!
