Charlotte was a part of Team Seventeen this year and I’m going to miss this girl. She is smart, sweet, and hilarious and has such a great sense of humor. She keeps the group laughing. She also plays lacrosse at Carroll Senior High School in Southlake.
When I asked Charlotte if she had heard back from any colleges yet, she had and it sounds like she has some big decisions to make! She has some great schools to choose from!
Charlotte wanted an urban look for her senior portraits so we went to the Winspear Opera House and did her Dallas Arts District senior pictures.
The day of Charlotte’s session, it was overcast. The weather forecast suggested that it was going to rain, but because the weather in Texas is so unpredictable all the time, I tend to not believe the forecast unless I see water falling from the sky.
Well, this was one of the few times that I probably should have postponed the session officially. As I drove out to meet Charlotte at TC Makeup Studio, it was raining. Not super hard, but enough. While the TC Makeup team finished up Charlotte’s look, I kept checking outside. The rain had stopped, but the clouds looked ominous still. Like they could open up at any moment and start pouring.
Since Charlotte had already driven out to Dallas from Southlake and already had her professional hair and makeup done…it didn’t feel right to cancel her session. However, because Charlotte is so easygoing, and up for anything, she was okay with proceeding with her session. I appreciate her go with the flow attitude!
And it turned out great! Thankfully, the rain never started back up again. Charlotte absolutely killed her senior portrait session in the Dallas Arts District.
