If I’m being totally honest, I have tried the 365 photo project before. I suck at it. The first time I attempted a 365 project in 2010, I made it to mid-February, when I lost steam. I think it was because I was taking the photos on my big camera, the photos would sit on the memory cards, and it just felt like such work to get them blogged. I made it too hard to get it done.
Last year, I joined a monthly photo challenge with Fat Mum Slim on Instagram and that was been pretty fun. I liked that it was on a monthly basis, and I completed the challenges for both January and June. I think that I was able to accomplish it because it was on my phone and on Instagram which made it super easy. Shoot. Upload. Done.
This year, I’ve joined the Project Life 365 photo-a-day project on Instagram, and it’s been really fun to see other people’s interpretation of the daily theme. You can join too! Every week Project Life 365 posts the daily themes for the week along with the hashtags to make your photos searchable. I personally love using Instagram for it. I hope I can keep up all year!
